Went back home this evening after Design class to go and look how's the house doing. Wasn't planning on going back this early but since Prof Amran insisted on me going back home and look after the house, so I decided to go back after lunch since my Design lecturers all gave freedom to us to do our site analysis by ourselves. (groupwork actually) Prof Amran and Pn Nakiah (his wife, which is also one of my Design lecturers. Prof Amran was my Design lecturer last semeter) was actually going to help their collegue who lives at TTDi. I guess they already know how bad the situation was. So practically, I ditched site analysis schedule and went back home at 2pm.

As I was driving home, at the junction in front of Polytechnic Shah Alam, (which is 5 minutes drive from my house) I could see A LOT of tow trucks carrying "mudded" cars. Gen-2 cars... Kancil cars.. even the nice and sleek mercedes been towed!! O__O;; Must be really bad.... Arrived home at around 2.45pm. OMG!!! @wO;; Selut di mana-mana saja! Everywhere I look, there's mud. So basically, everywhere I look, it's deep dark brownish orangey colour. Even the trees (potted trees) are brownish orangey. Feels like I'm lost somewhere in a suburban desert in Texas or something. *lolz* The thickness of the remaining mud on the ground/road was about 2 inches. O_O; Imagine that! I arrived at my housing area, but couldn't find a parking space near my house. So I had to park a bit further at the corner-lot house. ^^; Got out of the car and.. *PLLoShHh* My shoes landed on the half wet-half dried orange mud. Erk.. Had quite a hard time walking towards my house. Arrived home and saw my grandma washing of muds from furnitures in front of the house. Went upstairs, changed clothes (I was in my Baju Kurung, it's Monday so it's compulsory to wear baju kurung to class) and started helping with the cleaning. @___@;; It was horrifying!!

Ok. imagine this...
Dinner table and chairs (made out of wood) was floating on the water and moving randomly. Cars parked outside, almost all of it being drowned with water. A few even floated on the water (especially kancil) and got driven away from it's original locations. Water rises in less than 1 hour into the house... urhmm.. what else did my family told me. Owh.. my youngest brother and sister even took floaties and the foam surfboard and swam in the water. yech...!! Well, basically they did that to "save" their toys which was flating on the water. *lmao* and the funny thing was, my kitten which was placed at the kitchen near the drain (coz it couldn't kencing berak properly), took safety in it's food bowl and floated inside the cage when the water was rising. *LMAO* how cute!! XD Too bad I wasn't there to witness it.. uhuhuuu.. poor poor Croissant! (named it croissant coz it's a black cat. can't see the relevance? XD Watch yakitate japan dude!!)

This time around, it's much much mUcHhh worst than the flood which happens ten years back when I was around 10 or 11. Well, true then.. a friend of Mafia said that flood happens around 10 years time. *shrugs* I thought it was a joke. Didn't know it's true. @wO;; damn!!

Went back to my hostel at 6pm.
Ariz wanted to come by and help, but too bad he got his Statistics exam at 4pm. It's too late to go and pick him up after class anyway. *shrugs*

warghh!!! Hopefully NO MORe FLOOD after this!!! T_______T I can see the tiring faces in mom and the rest of the family's face just now. wuwuwuwuuhhh!!!!

Finished coding Ariz's Web Design assignment today. Slept at 5 am yesterday just to code it and fix up errors. It was raining that time. I didn't expect that it'd lead to flooding, and it's VERY least expected that my HOUSE would be flooded. @wO;; I was at my hostel, so I didn't knew anything about the whole flooded issue. Jijah called this evening around 6pm and asked me if I was alright. At first I was puzzled. Why would she call me and ask me if I'm alright?? It's not like she always calls me... Then I knew. She heard the news from the television saying that TTDi Jaya was flooded up to the level of an adult's chest. O__O;; It's horrifying... Called the house, no line. *shrugs* I guess the line's been cut of due to the rush of water rising. Called mom on her cellphone. No answer. Called Hazu. Bateri mati. wakakaka! So I decided to call them later on.

Around 7pm, Sara (my only sister) text me asking why'd I call mom and wondering if I wanted to come back home. Usually if I'm going back home, I'd call my mom first. Then I called her up and ask if things were going okay back home. The house was flooded, but not as high as the news reported. My housing unit was a bit higher than the rest of the area. A bit.. yes.. really a bit. The porch is higher, ground level is higher. The weird thing is, even though my house is situated in front of a river, it'd be the housing unit behind our units that would be flooded with water first, due to the lack of sewerage efficiency. =__=;; Anyway, it's good to hear that my family are doing well. The house is flooded, and a lot of stuff are damaged. Both of the fridges at the kithchen is turned upside down. (daya tujahan air. wakaka!) Good thing the carpets are able to be saved before water gets into the house. right now, all of my family members (except my dad) are living temporarily at cousin's house in Sungai Buloh.

Hope the flood goes away quickly... =__='' Now everytime it rains, it worries me.

I'm not motivated to live life to the fullest anymore. And somehow during and after the "preperation" for project 02 submission, I've grown to loathe and hate people around me even more. If anyone would call me for help or ask anything at me, I'd just shove them off rudely.

A lot of my studio-mates are "mating" one another. There's about three now.. Owh wait, four. And five if you include a member who couple with an ID student. Not that I have anything against coupling their own studio mates or people under one faculty, it's just that I really feel some sort of "jealousy" since Ariz isn't under the same "wing" as I am. Seeing them holding hands in class, laughing together after class ends, "manja-manja" together every now and then in class.. makes.. me... loathe them so much!! Coz I really want Ariz to be frequently around me. Okay.. so maybe I'm asking too much. At least he's studying in the same University as I am, and I could see him at least once in the evening after all our classes ends. *sigh*
I should be thankful instead of loathing people and mark them with sarcasm...

but as usual, i can't stop wanting something even more from what I have.

Anyway, I'm working on Ariz's web design project. For some reason the "OnMouseOver" command doesn't seem to work... Checked the code already.. doesn't seem to have anything wrong with it. Yeah!!!!!!!!! Archifest is coming soon! Opening ceremony will be held this Thursday, February 21. This semester's theme is "CTR+ALT+DEL".. which is supposed to mean "reviving the archifest to it's newest potential". ^^; As usual, the one who's handling Archifest is the semester 07 diploma students. Ritz's and Dede's batch... When I was in part 01 diploma, their batch handles the Archifest due to the reason that semester 07 batch at that time wasn't interested or not capable of handling it. I should say, when it comes to event handling their batch is somehow the most intersting and creative. *nods* Can't wait to see the outcome of this semester's Archifest!! Yaaahaa~~!!

Our batch handles the Mestika (Architectural Philharmonic Group) where we'll be playing musical instruments --- guitars, percussions, violin, and the main instrument is the ANGKLUNG!!!!! I wonder if you guys ever heard of such musical instrument. if you happen to live around Asia, I bet you sure have. It is made out of bamboo and we play it by shaking it. Different sizes and hollowness produces different cords. It's fun! for some reason, it's even fun if the practice were not held back so late at night. ~__~;; It's hard going back to the hostel where the guards are so damn farking strict!! +__+;; Frankly saying, I DESPISE UiTM GUARDS!!! They're the most tedious creature ever lived on earth!!! ()!()#)(#)!@)!(@ Okay, so they're doing their work but come on!! I just got back from Archifest's briefing by the president and we got back at around 10.40pm. The gate's closed at 11pm.. so we're in time. But when we pass through the gate, the guard was greeting us just fine and even joke around about a motorcyclist passing by recklessly in front of us... blablablaa.. we laugh and then suddenly... "Mana kad pelajar kamu? kenapa tak gantung?" (where's your student card? why aren't you hanging it on your shirt?)

Why the heck do we need to show off our ugly faces on our student card 24-7 anyway..... SHESSSHHH!!!! Good thing the guards didn't "saman" (fine) us...... damn....

yayh!! Just arrived from Penang. I'm in my room (hostel) safe and sound!!! 3 days 2 nights trip to Penang was fun and suprisingly, less tiring than our trip to Langkawi last semester. Supposedly doing on the spot sketches but it turns out almost half of the studio went shopping instead of doing the work. *sigh* My group, well, we spent most of the time sketching and didn't have the time to shop or loaf around Penang. ~__~;; Haiyaa..

Friday. Feb 10
The journey from Shah Alam to Penang was quite late than expected. We were supposed to move on from UiTM Shah Alam at 3.30pm but Jawa had an accident while he was on his way to the bus pick-up spot, and thus we depart a bit late.. say.. about..... 2 1/2 hours late? +_+; It was raining hard that evening and Jawa sort of lost control over his car and crashes a Wira car in front og him which accidentally hit the Gen-2 car in front of Wira. 3 cars accident... Heh.. The Wira driver (Kelantanese) demand RM1000 for the damage but wutdaheck-no-fair coz his car only have a slight scratch at the back and slightly dented in front. Estimatedly, it's not as much as RM1000 for the repair work. So our lecturers had to go to the accident place and settle the problem at the police station. At the end of the day, Jawa only need to pay RM300...

We arrived at LTH (Lembaga Tabung Haji) the place where we're staying, at 3 am. Supposed to stay at some hotel but due to the surprisingly HIGH increase of price because of the festive season, we booked LTH instead. Didn't do much. Just pick up the room keys and went to sleep instantly.

Thaipusam Day...
The road to Georgetown, the spot where we're supposed to do our Urban sketches was closed due to the Thaipusam celebration... So the lecturers changed the plan and we went to Bukit Bendera in the morning and Kek Lok Si temple in the evening. So basically today is just a visit trip.. makan-makan angin aje~ Bought the famous "buah pala" for mom. RM10 for 3 x 200gm package of buah pala at Kek lok Si temple. And guess what? Went down from Kek Lok Si, and I saw this shop in town selling the SAME thing.. BUT, 5 packages for RM10. Damn........................................................ =__=;;

SKetching day!!! ~__~;;
I suck.. here's a few sketches which i drew. We're supposed to do THREE sketches. Not much.. thank god!! I remembered back in semester 01 we need to do 50 sketches in one week. damn! Didn't sleep for a few nights and my hand hurts like hell. Okay.. I got A- for these sketches... I wanted to scan Khairil's sketches. Didn't have the chance to "borrow" his sketches and scan. ~___~;;
He and Syamil both got A+. @wO;;
I envy them..

Monday, Feb 13
Skteches submission in the morning on breakfast. I got an A-.... ~__~;; [Sketches are very "sketchy" and not confident..] so say the lecturer. And Pn Nakiah says my drawings were from imagination and not quite observative. She says I was floating while sketching, based on the eye level. ^^;

A temple in Penang. I forgot the name of the street where it is located.. @wO;; Didn't manage to finish this up on the spot, so I ended up borrowing Hamid's sketch to finish this up. ^^;

FINAL SUBMISSION FOR PROJECT 02 IS POSPONED 2 WEEKS LATER!!!!!!!!!!!!
HEAVEN YEAHHHHH!!!!!!!!

I was in the merge of killing myself slowly just by thinking of doing work like drawing 3 elevations, 2 sections, floor plans of 3 level building, detail model. All of em in the scale of 1:50, both drawings and models. That's quite BIG if u ask me. Imagine one drawing will just take up the size about 3/4 of an A2 paper. (If u dunnow how big is an A2 paper, it's 4 A4 paper) That's ONE drawing. I have to do.. like.. let me see... EIGHT DRAWINGS? Not including site plan, location plan and key plan drawing (which is thank god any scale u like) Drawings need to be detailed, rendered and COLOURED!!! And how long did they give the time for u to do so? THREE DAYS!!!! I don't think I could even finish up the detailed model in just THREE days. ~____~;; It's too much.. Plus, it's 3 days of school days. Meaning we'll be having classes in the morning and only have time to do the work during the evening....... From my past experiances, one detailed model of 1:50 scale takes up around 3 days.. three non-school days to be exact. So around 72 hours.. yah.. i'm slow... and drawings? Detailed drawings? around 8 hours per drawing... @wO;; No way I could do all of that in THREE DAYS!!!!

It's a good thing the lecturers postponed it from 9th February to the 20th. YAYH!!! MORE TIME TO DO DETAILINGS~~~~ WOOHOOO~~~~ But I only have 2 days of non-school day. This weekend we'll be going to PENANG! CLass trip. So I only have the weekend after to really pulun habis-habisan doing my design. @wO;; We'll be going to penang for Urban Observation and on-spot sketch practise. o__o;; *dies* Did I mention that we have to do it with our juniors, the semester 02 which is known as the "NEO" batch.. coz their sylabus are different from ours. They are more "creative drawing" enhanced than us... They don't have "DESIGN" in ther first year. Instead, they have painting class, rendering class.. More "artsy". we're more.. like.. uh.. well... technical? @wO;; I dunno.. XD The bottom line is, their drawing skills are MUCH MUCHHH BETTER than us. *__* *SALUTE*

On the other agenda, went out with Hariz this evening to go and buy a 1:50 scale car models for my Design submission... We're doing a CAR CLINIC, so putting up a model car inside the model car clinic would look much better, wouldn't it? You can see the scale resemblance and such.. I wanna get the human figure model (1:50 scale) at Wing's Art, Kelana Jaya.. T__T Haven't had the time to go there yet. (Plus I'm broke. One set of 6 people costs RM23) *dies* Anyywayyysssss, we went to Jusco and then to Toys'R'Us to get the model cars. Went for dinner at KFC. "Tapau" a box of cheesy wedges... Ate-in snack plate. And guess what? I left the cheesy wedges on the table and went home.

Anyway, WiFi connection in MAWAR suddenly gotten ok again. It recognizes my ID and password correctly now. Called the technician a few weeks back, and the technician helped my by giving HIS own ID and PASSWORD for me to login. And guess what? Even his ID and password can't connect me to WiFi. *dammit*

So I guess it's not just merely the technical problem back then, huh? *shrugs*

Owh well, mid sem break has gotten to an end. Today's the final day. Tomorrow I'll be having my design crit session.. and on THRUSDAY it's SUBMISSION day. On Friday evening, I'll be going on a class trip to PENANG~~~ >v< 3 days 2 nights.. I think. Will be back on MONDAY next week. XD Dunnow what's so exciting about this trip though... It's a site visit for us to do our "Student Center" or something... (I lost my Design brief) The sad thing is, the part 02 students will be joining us. They'll be doing their "sketching" exercises and for some reason the lecturers (precisely saying, Pn Nakiah) wanted us to practise and sharpen our "drawing" skills along with the part 02 students. o___________________O;;

haiyaahhh... Wifi connection is so cacat tonight. I just got back to Mawar this evening, lepak kat katil sat, pastu on EviFyuu. damn! The wireless adapter seems to have some technical difficulties detecting the WiFi signal here. I don't know why.. It's ok earlier. *sigh* can't go online tonight... (This blog entry was written offline on a notepad during the connection failure)

The other groups are doing their site studies at the studio. I thought we're going to submit it on Thursday? O__O;; Why are they so worked up? *blur* I'm not in the mood to work tonight... =__=; Not in the mood to do anything but lying around and wasting time. My head hurts, a bit... i think it's because I've been trying so hard to connect to the internet and fails. Ntah baper kali aku restart PC dan beger-beger connector kat belakang tu ntah.

Haiyaa.. bosan betul...

anyway, i did 'it' again.. with him. Yesterday.. and today. *guilty*

January 19, Thursday
It died.. please be ressurected!!

Last Tuesday, my car broke down. It wouldn't start! Hariz was the one taking care of my car while I'm in UiTM, and he asked me if I wanted to teman him to pick up his photostated notes. Anyway, he tried starting the engine but it nothing happened. Not a sound made when the key was turned. *__*; Damn... what's wrong? I walked all the way from Mawar to Anggerik and asked for Salam's help to come and look at the car. I waited for him at Anggerik's bus stop and off we went to the research lab near Perindu. I looked at my car... and think... damn, if this car is busted what am I going to tell my parents??? @___@;; I (my dad and I) just got it serviced a few weeks ago, and the air-cond + radio was recently "revived". My car was at least working properly like a normal car, and now.. it wouldn't start! I thought it might be the battery's problem since the "battery" icon/signal on the meter thing doesn't light up. Hurmm....... And so Hariz, Salam and I sent the batery to a workshop for recharging.

I was really hoping my car would be ressurected again after the recharging, but heck no.. up untill now, it's still not moving. *sigh* =3= Mom and dad will be coming over during the weekends to check on the car and prolly hire a tow truck or sumthing to get it to the workshop for "medical check-up". XD Haha! ironically, the Design project I'm currently working on is to design a "Car Clinic". >v<;; A clinic for sick cars?? Nyahaha!!


damn WiFi won't let me log in today. connection is all right but somehow there's an error and couldn't detect my user name and password correctly. Stupid wiFi.....

Owh wait.. are they maintaning the service or something? =__=; damn! supposed to put up a notice or something, (like in ragnarok)... haha....
