final submission is postponed... last minute-ly... +__=
Uaahhh!!!
Final submission was supposed to be last Monday, March 27th. I didn't sleep for a whole week. Well, I didn't "sleep well" for about a whole week and seriously didn't sleep at all (one hour doze doesn't count) for three days straight!!! "Camped" out at the studio starting Friday. What I mean by camped here is, I didn't return to the hostel for a 'heavenly' sleep and didn't take a 'nourishing bath' with proper shower. All I did was sleep at the studio and bath at the toilet in the faculty. I brought my clothes, my toiletries, my mini pillow, and of course, my sleeping bag was there at the studio since mid semester. Every day, every night, all I did was draw draw and draw (techical drawings) on the drawing board and fix up the massing model for final presentation. Good thing this time the lecturers only required a massing model (not detail model, just mass which indicates the blocks of building) with the scale of 1:500 model only!! YOKATTTAAAA!!!!! If they asked us to do a 1:100 scale model of the project (Student Centre), I can seriously die, choke and muntah darah. The whole process before submission is Really tiring, and I mean REALLY tiring. My back aches, my stomach grumbles (lack of proper food) and when I change focus from the drawing table to something else, my head's spinning. @wO;; Weird...
This isn't any new experiance. I've done this before in the previous semesters. (^_^) This time around.. it's something special. Why?
Ok.. here's why...
Submission was due at 4pm sharp, Monday. On Monday morning, my progress was still about 65% (if considered my presentation drawings to be in black and white). I haven't done the exploded detail drawings of the structure, axonometric view of the building and interior/exterior/perspective sketches indicating the ambiance of the building. Most of my studio mates are about to finish. Some of them even finished already. Ruby is one of them. She's completed all the requirements. O_O;; Fast!! Okay, so the rest of us who's still struggling to complete the requirements panicked when the clock strikes 12pm and En Wanzul came into the studio to "lurk" around on us. O____O;; En WAN!!! WHY'D YOU COME IN SO EARLY!!!! So there, we panicked. The weird thing is, En Wan is snickering like a sly fox, coming slowly one by one to each table. And there again, he's snickering. ="= What's with this old man anyway? He came by Adam's table (which is adjacent to mine) and starting to chuckle. Came to Fuad's table, chuckled again. Then I asked him... "Encik wan, kenapa gelak-gelak je ni? kitorang punya drawing ni buruk sangat ke?" Then he answered.. "Takde laa.. saya gembira hari ni".. and starting to chuckle more. @__@!!! This scares me.. what's so happy about? Maybe he's pleased that we're above 60% done of our presentation drawing, which he really least expected in the first place. Owh well... *shrugs* Continue working. 4 hours more to dateline.
At 2pm.. Went back to Mawar to get some stuff printed out. Letterings and snapshotz of my model. I borrowed Dannie's camera and took the camera along aswell as the cable to my hostel. WTF? What I brought back was not a camera cable but a TELEPHONE CABLE?????!!!! @________________@;; SHIT!! How am I gonna print out the snapshots of my model and paste it on my board!! Dammit!! Now my presentation board will be sooo sooo sooooo EMPTY!!!! Dah la tak sempat siap semua drawing!! I only manage to finish the floor plans, sections and elevations of the building. Then I pasted up the location plan, site plan and re-draw the site sections. Still it really looks empty in a 4 piece composition of A1 papers (which soon the be xerox and mounted on a board). T___T I am so gonna die!! Ahhh!! Forget the snapshotz, now it's time to print the lettering. Adjusted the lettering sizes, fits ok, and paste it on the paper. OMFG!! It's 4pm already!!! *ZOOOOOMMMMM* Took my car keys and drove to Double A shop to get my plans photocopied. After I arrived at Double A, I suddenly realized that I left Lah's plan which he asked me to photocopied aswell. SHIT!! Now I have to go back to my hostel, take the plan, and went to photocopy again. SEMPAT KE???? Look at the time.. yay........ it's 4.17pm.. =__=;; Am I DooOOoMMMMMMEddDD???
Called Anis to ask if the lecturer's has already ask to pin-up the drawings. Guess what? Anis told me that Pn Nakiah (One of our lecturer panels) postponed the submission to NEXT MONDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It seems that the final review for this semester has been postponed to April 10th, so final submission can be postponed as well. *yokatta* But WTH??? WHEN DID SHE TELL ABOUT THE POSTPONE DATE???? Anis answered.... about 10 minutes before 4pm. =__=;;; de damn!!! I was hurrying like chicken shit for nothing!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH....
felt relieved. Now I can finish up all those left over drawings and most probably be able to colour my drawings!! YAYYYY!!!!!!!
went back home afterwards and slept heavenly in my room, on my soft comfy bed, with air cond!! And had a yummeyh dinner with Mom!! (>v<)/
This Wednesday, gonna ganbatte hard again and finish my drawings properly!!!!!!!!! T____T although... I do hope.. I won't.. fail my design submission.. I have no confidence in this year's submission.. AT ALL!!
coz i only went for crit session once!! once!! only ONCE!! ="= *die*
